08:30 AM: Pick-up from hotel
Morning picks up from your hotel OR city Centre (Whichever is convenient to you) in Tehran and proceeds for a combined sightseeing of Tehran. We start to explore Iran National museum, The Iran National museum, founded in 1937, encompasses items from Paleolithic to the end of Sassanid era. If you visit only one museum in Iran, make it the National Museum of Iran. This 11000-square-meter building was designed by the well-known French architect, Andre Godard, inspired by the Sassanid vault (Taq-e Kasra or the Archway of Ctesiphon) and brickwork which reflect the magnificence of culture, art, and architecture.
National Museum consists of two building, the first one is "Muze-ye Iran-e Bastan" where ancient Iranian antiquities before Islamic era are exhibited, and the second one is ("Muze-ye Dowran-e Eslami") and it displays Islamic objects and monuments. Impressive masterpieces collected from major archaeological sites of the country including Kashafrud, Darband, Ganj Par, Shush and Persepolis are exhibited in this museum.
Then we head to visit the Former U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Today, this mysterious building is a magnet for tourists eager to photograph and peer over its walls, trying to envisage the historical day that completely severed diplomatic ties between the two countries, and which further propelled the construction of modern-day Iran.
11.30 AM: Golestan palace
the Golestan Palace, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, was built during the Qajar era and embodies the successful integration of earlier Persian architecture with European influence.
Built around a garden featuring pools as well as planted areas, the palace’s most characteristic features and rich ornaments date from the 19th century. It became a center of Qajari art and architecture of which it is an outstanding example and has remained a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects to this day. It represents a new style incorporating traditional Persian art and craft and elements of 18th century architecture and technology.
02.00 PM: Lunch at a city restaurant
In afternoon, we will stop at some good local restaurant for food. You can enjoy delicious cuisine of your choice.
03.00 PM: Tehran Grand Bazaar
explore the famous Tehran Bazaar where you will get amazing deals and stuff. Tehran Bazaar is one of the must-see places to visit during your stay in Tehran. This place is the heart of Persian culture and trading.
05.30 PM: Drop off at your hotel
